Why Booking with me?
As a Makeup Artist, I understand and can relate to how important this day is and how it is to look your best on your wedding day.
I make sure to allocate enough time to go through all your concerns and inspirations, we discuss my professional opinion with your wishes, to achieve the look that makes you feel the most comfortable and beautiful. I always make sure to show you step by step of the process and allow you to change it as much as you want.
After all, this is a very special day and I want to create your perfect, unique look.
In the end, you will be able to relax, feel confident and beautiful and most importantly FEEL YOURSELF!
When should I book?
When booking your Makeup Artist, you should be 100% confident that the Artist is the right one for you! Makeup is very personal and each one has their very own signature look and speciality, therefor, you must identify with them.
As weddings are require several months of planning, and are generally booked between 24 to 12 months in advance. This causes a high flow of bookings on all Artists diaries, which essentially, narrows down the availability quite quickly, therefore, booking your trial as early as possible, is a must!
To book the trial, a 40% non-refundable retainer, must be paid upon booking, to reserve the appointment date.
To book the wedding service, we will meet to discuss the contract terms, this is usually done after the trial. This must be signed and a 50% non-refundable retainer must be obtained.
The contract can also be sent to you prior, to allow you enough time to read it.
Do you hold dates? Are there any discounts offered?
No, based on the importance of the day itself and the high demand for certain dates, the booking will only be considered finalised upon contract signage and retainer obtained.
No, my prices are firm and no discounts will be offered under any circumstances.
Booking Fees
I require the contract to be completed and submitted with a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the trial’s total charge, to book and secure the trial’s date. And 40% of the total of services selected upon signing the contract to book and secure the required date.
The remaining fees are to be paid as below:
● Trial 60% outstanding - to be paid on the day of the appointment.
● Wedding deposit - 40% to be paid upon signing the contract.
● Wedding 60% outstanding - to be paid no later than 2 ( two) days before the wedding date.
The complete balance for your bridal party will be due up to 2 (two) days before the wedding date, or over anytime whenever it suits you better, but no later than 2 days prior to the day itself.
Is a makeup Preview needed?
Makeup Preview are just as essential as dress trials, it is highly recommended! During the appointment, we can make as many changes as needed until you are completely happy with the look. Once the trial is completed, more trials can be booked up to 2 months before the wedding day, but no changes will be allowed on the wedding day.
Who else can book Previews?
ANYONE!
In reality, everyone involved on your day, from Mothers to Bridesmaids, all will want to be sure they will look the best version of themselves on your big day, so it is normal to be asked by them if it is possible to have a trial done for their looks.
That is absolutely normal! This will also help the day to run as smoothly as possible, as well.
Travelling to your location?
I can travel anywhere you need me to, but please take into account that there may be a travel fee. 60p per mile.
Venues that will require more than 1 hour and a half one-way drive, will also require overnight accommodation to be provided for the before.
Can you apply my own products?
No, I can only apply the things that I personally have in my kit.
As you can understand, I do not know how your personal makeup has been used previously, using anything other than my own products, may cause cross-infection and we don't want to ruin your special day.
Do you offer on-location touch-ups throughout the wedding day?
Yes. I do offer this additional service. However, this is a per hour service, that can be added, accordingly to your needs.
